Keep Halloween costumes safe

Keep Halloween costumes safe tonight with these five safety tips from @azchildproofers.
1. Fire Resistant
2. Inspect
3. Bright
4. Short
5. No Mask.
1. Fire resistant fabric still burns but will burn out more quickly...Also avoid itchy and scratchy fabrics that can irritate baby's tender skin. Avoid candles and fires.
2. Inspect for choking and strangulation hazards on costumes on children that are under 3 and on older children's costumes if you have a toddler in the house too.
3. Falls are the leading cause of unintentional injury...keeping costumes short will help to avoid tripping on the costume
4. Reflective tape will help drivers see your child AND you when you are out on the streets. Children are twice as likely to be hit by a car on Halloween night that any other night.
5. Masks can block peripheral vision for walkers....Masks can be a suffocation hazard for infants. Use non toxic face paint instead
Have a fun and safe time dressing up!
